National Starch and Chemical Co., Bridgewater, N.J., has won CSX Transportation Inc.’s 1998 Safety Excellence Award for the second year in a row. The award is based on performance in loading and unloading procedures, training, incident investigation, corrective actions and preventive fleet-maintenance/safety programs.
