A&C Catalysts has announced the introduction of Technimelt hot melt epoxy resin systems. Technimelt Resins are reactive, thermoplastic-modified epoxy resins that can be applied by conventional hot melt coating means and can be tailored to cure as required by the user. Once cured, Technimelt can exhibit peel strengths of greater than 60 pli and lap shear strengths approaching 10,000 psi. Because of its epoxy backbone, Technimelt exhibits unequalled moisture and chemical resistance. Technimelt Resins can be supplied in a tackified, pressure-sensitive form or as a remeltable pellet or powder.
