Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex has announced the permanent closing of the company’s manufacturing plant located in Chickamauga, GA. The closing will be effective on August 31, 2008. The facility employs 57 people. Products currently manufactured in the facility will be transferred to other manufacturing sites. “This rationalization of production capacity is necessary to bring our capability in line with current market demand,” said Jeffrey Welker, president of Dow Reichhold.
