Ross Mixing Inc., Pt. St. Lucie, FL, has announced the promotion of John Paterson to the position of vice president. Paterson joined Ross as product manager of Coatings Equipment in 1995 and was promoted in 1996 to general manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and joined Ross from Hockmeyer Equipment. He holds two design patents covering a Basket mill and the PreMax high-speed mixer.

Paterson will handle varied general management duties at the Pt. St. Lucie plant, as well as oversee the company’s continuing development of specialty mixing and dispersion equipment for the coatings industry.
