Flowserve Corp., Dallas, has announced the opening of its newest Quick Response Center (QRC) in Portage, IN. The 10,000-sq.-ft. facility will provide full machining, welding and service capabilities for Valtek and Kammer valve customers. Flowserve has QRCs in five other states for maintenance, repair and manufacturing for its customers.
“Establishing a QRC in this region demonstrates our continued commitment to providing superior local services for our chemical, oil and gas, power, and other customers in the Midwest,” said John Lenander, vice president and general manager, Flowserve Flow Control Division. “This state-of-the-art facility will allow our customers to reduce lifecycle costs, extend equipment life and maximize reliability.”
