The Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF) has named
Denise Creedon its vice president of Institutional Advancement. Creedon will
lead efforts to broaden the base of support for CHF programs and
activities. She will oversee the
implementation of professional development and communications strategies to
engage new audiences, align with corporate and foundation charitable giving
criteria, and advance individual giving through annual, donor directed, and
planned gifts to form the framework of a comprehensive and expandable
fundraising arm at CHF. Creedon, along with her professional staff in the
Institutional Advancement Department, aims to fulfill the promise and the
legacy upon which the Chemical Heritage Foundation was founded - To Tell the
Story of Chemistry.
Before joining CHF, Creedon devoted much of her
professional career to the non-profit sector, serving most recently as the co-director
of the Why It Matters comprehensive capital campaign at WHYY Inc. for the past
seven years.
