announced that its operations have been certified to the ISO 9001:2008 with Design International Quality
System Standard.
The company's entire quality system was audited and certified by Smithers Quality Assessments Inc. (SQA), a leading independent accredited registrar.
Akron Specialized Products consists of two companies located in Akron, OH - Akron Tool & Die and Diamond America - that specialize in the design, manufacture, repair, and re-conditioning of machines, dies, barrels, screws, and components for the rubber, plastic, food, and chemical extrusion and other industries.
Smithers is fully accredited both by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the American National Accreditation Body (ANAB), and is a member of the Independent Association of Accredited Registrars.
