CD420 is a new UV/EB-curable monomer developed to fit applications including adhesives, specialty coatings for metals and plastics, and inkjet and screen inks. This monofunctional, aliphatic monomer is characterized by low viscosity and low surface tension, making it a good diluent and substrate wetting agent. In addition to adhesion promotion, the material can improve elongation and demonstrates excellent weathering resistance. It can also function as a performance-enhancing supplement in formulations containing isobornyl acrylate (IBOA).
