Arch Chemicals Inc. has announced the election of two executive vice presidents to its senior leadership team. Joe Shaulson and Luis Fernandez-Moreno assumed their new roles effective September 1 and will report to Michael E. Campbell, chairman, president, and CEO.

Shaulson, who previously served as senior vice president, Wood Protection and Personal Care Ingredients, will hold the position of executive vice president for the global operations of Arch's Industrial Biocides, Personal Care Ingredients, and Performance Products businesses. He joined Arch in 2008 as vice president of Strategic Development, and has played a key role in sharpening Arch's focus on its biocides business portfolio.

Fernandez-Moreno previously served as a vice president of Dow Coating Materials for The Dow Chemical Co. As executive vice president, he is responsible for the global operations of the company's HTH Water Products and Wood Protection businesses.
