Bayer MaterialScience has announced plans to construct a new world-scale production facility for the coating raw material isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) at its integrated site in Shanghai, China. The planned investment volume is €65 million (~ $92 million) for the plant, which is scheduled for completion in 2015.
