In 2011, the Green Manufacturing Expo (GMX) West will again convene in Anaheim, Calif. Because the green initiative continues to expand in scope, manufacturing industry professionals are eager to come together and share ideas for sustainable resources, cost savings, and efficiency. The Expo, which will be held February 8-10 at the Anaheim Convention Center, will offer multiple opportunities.
In order to provide a convenient networking arena for manufacturing professionals, other industry-related shows will be taking place at the same time. Beyond the Green Manufacturing Expo, an individual registration includes admission to the Medical Design and Manufacturing West, Pacific Design and Manufacturing, West Pack, PlasTec West, Automation Technology Expo West, AeroCon, and Electronics West. Each show will have its own conference program from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Conference registrants will be able to attend an assortment of sessions that will cover vital industry topics.
During the Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday, hundreds of exhibitors will showcase products and services in a variety of sectors, including clean energy systems, sustainability design, energy management software, consulting, recyclable packaging, and energy-saving machinery and components. An up-to-date list of exhibitors is available on the Green Manufacturing Expo website. There will also be daily giveaways-attendees can win either an Amazon Kindle or an Apple iPad in an hourly drawing.
This year’s Green Manufacturing Expo will feature a daily schedule of Innovation Briefs as well. These educational presentations will be readily accessible in the resource hall and are complimentary with the cost of admission. Manufacturing industry experts will be delivering the latest information about sustainability technology and energy efficiency in concise seminars. A detailed agenda of Innovation Briefs (complete with short descriptions of each topic) will be available in advance so visitors can choose which sessions will be most valuable for them to attend.
