Full-stroke polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE, Teflon®) diaphragms are now available for use on this company’s air-operated double diaphragm (AODD) pump lines. The full-stroke design of these diaphragms results in improved pump performance due to increased product displacement per stroke, translating into greater flow rates and higher efficiencies than those found in pumps that operate with reduced-stroke PTFE diaphragms.
In addition, the diaphragms use the same shaft and piston combinations as Wilden’s standard rubber and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) diaphragms, making them retrofittable to existing pumps without requiring any extra components.
