Yule Catto & Co. Plc recently announced it has completed the acquisition of PolymerLatex from Towerbrook CapitalPartners. The acquisition brings Synthomer and PolymerLatex under the same ownership, creating an emulsion polymers group with a combined turnover in excess of £1 billion (~ $1,655 billion). Yule Catto has named Derick Whyte CEO of the combined business operations, which employs 1,900 people across 18 production sites, R&D laboratories, and sales offices globally.
