Sulzer recently announced its board of directors has unanimously appointed Klaus Stahlmann as CEO, effective immediately. Stahlmann reportedly has comprehensive global experience in many of Sulzer’s key markets and a strong leadership track record.
Stahlmann previously worked as CEO of MAN Diesel and Turbo, a leading provider of diesel engines and turbomachinery. In this position, he managed the successful integration of MAN Turbo and MAN Diesel into one division. From 2007 to 2009, he was CEO of MAN Turbo, and he successfully implemented a market-oriented structure and globalized the manufacturing footprint.
