A new shop air desoldering system is available that can reportedly provide a powerful desoldering solution for today’s production assembly specialists. The MFR-1150 desoldering system, along with the company’s MFR-UK5 upgrade kit, can enable assemblers to transform existing MFR systems into shop air desoldering systems.

The new desoldering system incorporates a built-in power supply and features an increased vacuum suction force of 25 in. Hg or 0.85 bar. The system has a hand-piece that can be used in two different configurations, either a pencil style or pistol grip. The hand-piece also increases solder collection capability by 40% compared to previous MFR systems due to an expanded collection chamber capacity. The replaceable chamber can reduce downtime and ensure a rapid changeover.
