Charlie Sweet, who served as global dispersions manager at Akzo Nobel for more than 20 years, passed away last month. Sweet retired after Hexion purchased the business in 2006. Prior to his time with Akzo, Sweet worked at Reichhold Chemical.

His death was reportedly due to complications from diabetes. He was 62. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
