TAPPI recently announced that Tess Ventress has joined the organization as program director of the TAPPISAFE safety orientation program. TAPPISAFE, a service of TAPPI offered in partnership with Alliance Safety Council, provides a standardized safety testing and orientation program for contractors and suppliers.

Ventress has been involved with standardized training in multiple industries. For the last seven years, she has worked with the utility industry and was reportedly instrumental in the development and marketing of a standardized safety orientation program called PowerSafe.
