This company has introduced 3546A, a single-coated woven tape for use in the manufacture of pulse oximeters and other medical devices. The tape features a 25-mil stretchable woven fabric backing and white rubber-based medical-grade adhesive.

“A key design feature of 3546A is the easy-release liner that removes quickly for high-speed converting operations, as well as the woven backing that readily accepts ink for excellent print quality,” said George Kontakos, director of Sales, Medical Tapes. “The newly designed tape also features a specially formulated rubber adhesive that bonds well without lifting or flagging, and also removes cleanly without causing skin trauma.”
