Univar recently announced its waste management business ChemCare has been awarded the Houston Business Roundtable and Houston Area Safety Council’s silver award for excellence in safety. The award reportedly honors contractors in the Houston/Gulf Coast area that have achieved an outstanding record of worksite safety performance during the previous year.

Univar’s ChemCare was nominated by Chevron Philips Chemical for the award in the Specialty Contractor-Soft Crafts Large category. ChemCare was recognized as the silver award winner among 89 other companies.
