AFLAS^® 200P is a peroxide-curable specialty FKM that reportedly performs better than conventional FKM-type fluoroelastomers for applications that need to withstand aggressive oils containing anti-oxidants, solvents, ozone, acids, and bases. When compounded with AFLAS 200P, components such as oil seals for automotive and heavy-duty diesel engines can reportedly last longer and exhibit outstanding performance characteristics.

Classified as Type 4 FKMs by ASTM standards, AFLAS 200P fluoroelastomers can offer improved performance at cold temperatures. The material can be used for oil seals, shaft seals, O-rings, gaskets and a variety of other parts and fittings. AFLAS 200P can be solvated and applied as a coating.
