Sutherland Named Univar VP-Global Mining
Univar Inc. recently announced it has named Sam Sutherland its new vice president of Global Mining. In his new role, he will report directly to Chris Oversby, global Oil & Gas and Mining Industry president.
Sutherland brings 25 years of experience in the mining industry, including growing and overseeing industrial minerals technologies for a specialty chemical manufacturer. In his role as vice president, Sutherland will reportedly help grow Univar’s presence in the mining industry, establishing a global infrastructure, driving new opportunities and coordinating with the Univar global Oil & Gas team.
