KODA Distribution Group (KDG) recently announced that Joel W. Jones has been appointed chief commercial officer. His position will reportedly cover many critical duties, including managing and enhancing KDG’s key supplier relationships and working with the company’s five independent, regional sales organizations on best practices in the specialty selling process. 

Jones previously worked for 29 years at The Dow Chemical Co., where he held various positions including Northeast Regional Sales manager, Product Channel manager and, most recently, a Global Corporate Account executive.

“Joel will play an instrumental role in strengthening relationships by working closely with our key suppliers and sales organization to ascertain exactly what is most important to our suppliers and customers,” said Frank Bergonzi, president and CEO. “With his impressive background and extensive knowledge in chemical distribution, he fills a vital role for us at KDG.”
