Emerald Kalama Chemical, a business group of Emerald Performance Materials, recently announced it has appointed Gautham Parthasarathy to the new position of vice president and general manager for its K-FLEX^® business. Parthasarathy, who reportedly has extensive experience working with global chemical firms, will be responsible for overseeing the continued growth of the group’s K-FLEX platform and will assume responsibility for leadership of the business.

Parthasarathy previously served as chief marketing officer of the Aditya Birla Group. Before that, he held in positions of increasing responsibility in business development, strategy, M&A, R&D, and Operations.
