This company has re-released the GD 500 adhesive volume sensor to monitor glue volume in corrugated applications. The new version uses a pair of sensors to assess the volume of liquid adhesive dispensed onto a corrugated board.

The GD 500 sensor uses an easy-to-use LCD display and keypad interface to simplify setup and changeovers. A calibration process can automatically learn the desired adhesive profile. Adjustable thresholds for either too much or too little glue can be defined.

The sensors can be incorporated into the Nordson corrugated glue station.
