LORD Corp. recently announced it has received the 2013 Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) Sustainability Award, an award intended to honor companies that minimize their impact on the environment while improving cost and efficiency in their operations. Nominees responded to a survey that evaluated each company’s level of involvement in applying sustainability within their organization. P&WC reportedly selected LORD based on its investment in reducing the company’s impact on the environment through the manufacturing cycle and through innovations in product development that reduce customers’ environmental impact.
