Meredian Inc. recently announced it has appointed John A. Dowdy III to the position of chief financial officer. Meredian, a producer of biopolymers, and sister company DaniMer Scientific recently merged under wholly owned subsidiary Meredian Holdings Group Inc. Dowdy has 17 years of experience in private industry and public accounting. In addition, he reportedly has significant experience helping emerging companies make the transition to becoming publicly traded.\
