Evonik Corp. recently announced it has promoted Christian Edlinger to the position of Business Line director, Interface and Performance, in the Consumer Specialties unit. He is responsible for developing and implementing business strategy for the Americas region, and is a member of the global management team for the Interface and Performance business line.

Edlinger has held several posts at Evonik. Since 2010, he has served as head of Controlling for the global Personal Care business line. He joined the company in 2003 as an operational controller for the Performance Materials division.
