Michelman recently announced the grand opening of its Advanced Materials Collaboration Center on October 2 at the company’s Cincinnati, Ohio, headquarters. The new facility reportedly enhances the company’s ability to develop water-based coatings, surface additives and polymers. It includes six new laboratories with state-of-the art equipment, bright and accessible open space, and meeting rooms designed to allow collaboration.

 
The spirit of the word “collaboration” is reportedly carried throughout the facility. The building was designed to allow the company’s application specialists and chemists to interact with customers, vendors, research universities, and other R&D facilities. This innovative approach reportedly facilitates the open sharing of ideas and technology between groups, to the benefit of all Michelman stakeholders.
