This company has collaborated with ITW Security and Brand Identity Group to qualify a combination of drum label materials and resin thermal transfer ribbons that meet the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) standard, as well as BS5609 Section 3 for the chemical and petroleum market. The DRUMcal™ line can reportedly be printed with ITW Security and Brand Identity Group’s resin ribbons for two-color and flat head thermal transfer printers, meeting the latest GHS standard, which requires drum label plaque cards to be variable printed with both red and black ink. Certain DRUMcal products are also approved under BS5609 Section 2 for salt water immersion.
