Berry Plastics Group Inc. recently announced the appointment of Stephen E. (Steve) Sterrett to its Board of Directors. Sterrett will serve as chairman of the company’s Audit Committee. He replaces David B. Heller, who is stepping down after serving on the company’s Board since September 2012.

Sterrett most recently served as the senior executive vice president and CFO of Simon Property Group Inc., an S&P 100 company and the largest real estate company in the world. Prior to joining Simon, he was a senior manager with the international accounting firm of Price Waterhouse.
