BYK-Chemie GmbH recently announced that Stephan Glander, Ph.D., has been appointed to the position of managing director and worldwide president of BYK Glander Named BYK-Chemie Managing DirectorAdditives & Instruments, effective July 1. He succeeds Christoph Schlünken, Ph.D., who became a member of the ALTANA Management Board in November 2014.

Glander has held various management positions in major chemical companies, including Bayer AG. In his last role as managing director of the Engineering Plastics Division of Röchling, he had full responsibility for the Composites and Medical Plastics business units.
