PPG Industries’ Protective and Marine Coatings (PMC) business recently announced it has appointed Richard Holliday as global director, hydrocarbon passive fire protection (HC-PFP) coatings. He succeeds Paul Greigger, who has retired after 36 years of service.
Holliday, a mechanical and offshore engineer by training, has been in the oil, gas and petrochemical fire-protection industry for much of his 30-year career. He joins PPG after working for seven years with MMI Engineering, a technical safety consultancy. He will be responsible for growing PPG’s position in HC-PFP coatings globally.
