The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) recently announced that Traci Jensen, senior vice president, Americas, at H.B. Fuller will serve as its chair, beginning June 22. She will replace current chair Andy Johnston, who has taken a new role within Ashland as its group vice president for Performance Materials. Jensen will serve the remainder of Johnston’s term, through December 31, 2016.

In addition, Charles Williams, technical director at Avery Dennison, will serve as the association’s treasurer, filling the remainder of Jensen’s current term in the position, through December 31, 2016. Both were elected to these officer positions by the Board of Directors in a special electronic vote, following Johnston’s resignation.

In addition to the changes at the officer level, the board also approved adding Tom Stewart, Commercial director for Structural Adhesives with Ashland Inc., as a director, serving the remainder of Johnston’s Board seat, through December 31, 2017.
