Nordson Corp. recently announced it has hired Scott J. Springer as Sales director, Americas, Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) products. In addition to sales duties, he will be responsible for technical support and customer service teams in the Americas.

“Scott brings more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing management of engineered equipment, much of it focused on sophisticated components for process optimization and automation,” said Steve Purcell, vice president, Americas.

Most recently, Springer was vice president of Sales and Marketing for the materials handling equipment manufacturer Schwing Bioset Inc.
