PPG Industries recently announced that Michael H. McGarry will become president and CEO, effective September 1. In addition, he will join the company’s Board of Directors immediately.

McGarry, who has served as PPG’s president and COO since March, will succeed Charles E. Bunch in the role of CEO. Currently holding the position of chairman and CEO, Bunch has led PPG for the last decade and will continue as executive chairman.
