The Adhesive and Sealant Council recently announced it will host two webinars this month.
On September 16, Paul Painter of Penn State University will deliver “Introduction to Polymer Science Webinar,” a 90-minute presentation on how structure dictates properties. This webinar will reportedly provide an introduction into what makes long chain molecules so unique and how the architecture of the polymer influences performance of adhesives and sealants. In addition, it will explore how structure and morphology of macromolecules contribute to thermal, mechanical and viscoelastic properties.
On September 22, Ron Coifman and Jessie Waldheim of ICIS Consulting will present “Key Feedstock Trends Webinar,” giving global isocyanates project updates that will drive the demand for isocyanates and polyols. This webinar intends to give critical insight into the dynamics driving U.S. and global markets of MDI and TDI, market drivers such as feedstocks, production, supply/demand issues, and applications in major downstream polyurethane products. It is geared toward technical and business professionals responsible for strategic product management, market research, or commercialization of isocyanates or polyurethane-based adhesives and sealants.
