Nordson Corp. recently announced four new personnel appointments, intended to support its Polymer Processing Systems (PPS) range of products in Greater China.

Jackie Zhang has been appointed manager of aftermarket sales. Zhang reportedly will lead the Nordson China team providing after-sale service, refurbishing, rebuilding, and spare parts for all PPS components. He was previously manager of the aftermarket team in China for the compounding and extrusion machinery supplier Coperion.

Jack Shi has been named service engineer for pelletizers. Reporting to Jackie Zhang, Shi reportedly will provide after-sale support for BKG pelletizers. His 12-year career in industry has consisted of service engineering roles with manufacturers of equipment and controls.

Haijian Yan has been hired as application engineer of integrated components. Yan reportedly will design integrated systems combining multiple Nordson PPS components. He previously spent four years at Maag, where he worked in design and application engineering.

BingKe Shen has been named sales manager for melt delivery systems. Shen reportedly will be responsible for sales of screen changers and melt pumps, and will report to senior sales manager Jane Liang. Previously, he held engineering, technical support, and sales management positions with machinery manufacturers, including ten years with Shanghai Grande Machinery Co.

“The four individuals now joining our Nordson PPS China team together represent more than 50 years of experience serving the industrial equipment market,” said Edward Luo, general sales manager. “They will increase our ability to offer customers one-stop shopping for key melt stream components, including integrated package systems, and to protect their investment with outstanding after-the-sale support.”
