Scheugenpflug Inc. recently announced it is supporting the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children in lieu of customer gifts.

Established in 1870, the Shriners are best known for the children’s hospitals they administer and the red fezzes members wear. Patients at the hospitals, who range in age from only a few months old to 18 years, are treated without regard to the family’s ability to pay.

“I can think of no better way to capture the spirit of the Christmas season than to improve the lives of children,” said Christian Geier, general manager of U.S. operations d. “We know the quality of companies and people who make up our customer base and we know that they would heartily support this donation.”
