The Golden Label Award recipients were recently announced. An international jury of experts from the specialist fields of design and concept development as well as printing technology and labeling evaluated almost 100 labels in a two-stage procedure. Taking into account six assessment criteria, the jury determined the best labels in four categories: Beer and Shandy, Confectionary, Cans, Jars, etc., Mineral Water, Soft Drinks, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages, and Wine and Spirits. In addition, more than 1,000 votes were cast by the public for their favorite.
In the Beer and Shandy category, Toepfer Kulmbach GmbH took gold with its label for Guinness Smooth. Goetz and Müller GmbH took both silver and bronze place for BRLO Pale Ale and Rügener Inselbrauerei Baltic Stout.
In Confectionary, Cans, Jars, etc., S. Spitz Gesellschaft m.b.H received gold for Spitz der Konfiteur. Ilketap Etiket Ve Ambalaj San Tic A.S took silver for Omo, which also won the public vote.
CH Studio took bronze for POLEIT―Swimwear. In the Mineral Water, Soft Drinks, and Non-Alcoholic Beverages category Royal Hoitsema Labels took gold for Vöslauer Sonderedition No. 3 “Kulinarisches & Erfreuliches” designed by by Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann Werbegesellschaft mbH.
Goetz and Müller GmbH took both silver and bronze for Cucumis and St. Leonhards Jod Natur.
In the Wine and Spirits category, Etiketten CARINI GmbH took gold for Zur Metzg - Borstig Kerl. Marzek Etiketten and Packaging Group took both silver and bronze for Crazy Creatures and Seher “Neue Zeit”
