Maroon Group recently announced it has hired John W. Lovell as its newest Midwest account manager to cover northern Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas City.

With more than 16 years working in the chemical distribution arena at Brandt Technologies, Lovell has knowledge in coatings, plastics, and the graphic arts industries, as well as specialty markets such as color dispersions and Bio Ag. Before joining technical sales, he spent six years as a R&D paint chemist at Seymour of Sycamore.

“With a strong lab background and 16 years selling in chemical distribution, John will be a great asset and resource not only for our customers, but our principals,” said Scott Norton, sales manager. “We are very excited to add his experience and expertise to our team.”
