RadTech, in partnership with SUNY-ESF, recently announced it has scheduled the webinar “Implementing Atmospheric Plasma to Improve Adhesion of UV/LED Curable Coatings.” The webinar will be presented by Ryan Schuelke, vice president of Enercon Industries, from 2-3 p.m. EDT on June 22.
As UV and LED applications continue to expand, there is a growing need for supporting these processes with surface pre-treatment. In-line atmospheric plasma surface treating systems clean, etch, and functionalize surfaces to improve wettability, increase free surface energy, and promote strong adhesive bonds. This webinar intends to explain the basic functionality of atmospheric plasma systems, share lab data on the surface effects produced by atmospheric plasma, and provide insights on best practices for implementing surface treating solutions in the field.
