Van Horn, Metz & Co. Inc. recently announced it has hired Andrew A. Romano as regional sales manager in the Mid-Atlantic region. His experience in the chemical industry ranges from developing and managing coatings additives product line to direct sales responsibilities and distribution management for MMA flooring systems and saturated polyesters.

Prior to joining Van Horn, Metz, Romano was the coatings resins market manager for Evonik Corp. He also served as the product manager for GAF Materials Corp. and project manager for Drew Division of Ashland Chemical. His technical background includes research and development of new products for coatings, inks, latex and adhesives industries focused on foam control, inverse emulsion polymers, and water-soluble polymers.
