Huber Engineered Materials recently announced it is investing in commercial production capacity for its Spherilex^™ amorphous precipitated spherical silica and silicate technology at its Hamina, Finland, production facility. The Hamina operation is reportedly the first production-scale capacity for the technology and will support the business growth of the silicas and silicates globally.
