The Adhesive and Sealant Council (ASC) Fall Convention and Expo will take place October 17-19 in Indianapolis. The event offers speakers, short courses, a lively exhibition floor, and multiple chances to network with industry experts, clients, end users, and researchers.
ASC Fall Program Highlights of the Day: Monday, October 17
From 1-4 p.m. on Monday, join ASC staff and Arizona Chemical as they partner with United Way for a community service project.
Also on Monday, a welcome reception will be hosted at the NCAA Hall of Champions, approximately 11 minutes from the hotel, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Participants must have their badges, which can be picked up with directions to the hall from the ASC registration desk.
ASC Fall Program Highlights of the Day: Tuesday, October 18
Attendees will begin their day on Tuesday, October 18, with an Opening General Session Breakfast. Robert Fry, chief economist of Robert Fry Economics LLC, will present the global economy outlook for 2016 and 2017, with an emphasis on U.S. manufacturing and chemical and polymer markets.
Following the breakfast, three separate education sessions will discuss Key Feedstocks, Waterborne Formulations, and New Frontiers.
From noon until 1 p.m., a Speed Networking Lunch is scheduled. Space is limited for this event.
Afternoon sessions pick up at 1:15 p.m., and will cover the topics of Automotive, Regulatory Affairs, and PSA Technology.
The Exhibition will be open from 3:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday, hosting over 50 companies from across the industry supply chain.
ASC Spring Program Highlights of the Day: Wednesday, October 19
From 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, ASC leadership will provide an update on key strategies for membership company growth.
After the breakfast, morning educational sessions will discuss the topics of Market Intelligence and Trends in Sustainability, Caulks and Sealants Formulation, and Structural Bonding.
From 12:15-1:15 p.m., delegates can attend the General Session Lunch & Keynote, “Welcome to the Age of Zero-Sum,” presented by Nat Brooks, principal at Strategy Shapers.
A new panel discussion runs from 1:45-3:30 p.m., which Brooks will moderate. The panel discussion will include three panelists representing ASC customer industries as innovation leaders.
The Closing Reception takes place from 3:30-5 p.m.
