This company has announced that long-term testing of its external ammunition sealant 76084 has resulted in an extension of the expected shelf life from six months to 12 months. The low-viscosity UV-curing material can be used to seal cartridge primers and casings. The sealant is applied via non-contact jet valves and wicks into position, filling the gaps between cartridge shells and primer caps and between shells and projectiles before being cured by UV light.
“This shelf life extension is great news for many of our international customers as it reduces the impact of shipping time on the useful life of the product,” said Edgardo Rodriguez, sales and marketing director.
