Adhesives and sealants industry leaders will gather October 15-17 in Naples, Fla., for the annual Adhesive and Sealant Council’s (ASC) Executive Leadership Conference. This year’s event is centered around the theme “Focus on the Future.”
Speaker Highlights
Jim Owens, president of H.B. Fuller, will discuss high-performance teams and opportunities, as well as challenges of post-merger integration. Attendees will learn the key attributes of high-performing teams and the culture needed for driving international business success.
Janine Driver, a body language expert who has appeared on shows such as NBC’s “Today Show” and on CNN, will present “You Say More Than You Think,” exploring how your actions may be hurting—not helping—you.
Stephen Melman, an economist with the National Association of Home Builders, will provide an overview on the housing market and economic outlook following the Trump tax cuts. He will also discuss the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and its impact on the housing market.
Matt Thornhill, managing partner at the Institute for Tomorrow, will present “Winning Tomorrow: How ASC Can Leverage the Future We Already Know.” He’ll talk about how leaders should sort through and prioritize the myriad changes taking place in the workplace and the marketplace.
Networking Opportunities
Numerous networking opportunities are scheduled throughout the event, including receptions and dinners. In addition, from noon to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, attendees can participate in a golf event at the Ritz Carlton Golf Course, or experience the mystique of the Florida Everglades and visit an animal sanctuary on the South Everglades Airboat Eco-Tour.
