Arkema Coating Resins recently announced a project to expand manufacturing capability for its SYNAQUA® technology platform at its Grand Rapids, Mich., facility. This new manufacturing capacity is scheduled to come on line in the second quarter of 2019.

“This investment to localize production of SYNAQUA in North America will enhance our ability to meet customer demand for these products, which has grown significantly in the past few years,” said Eric Kaiser, regional president, Arkema coating resins. “By adding new manufacturing capacity for these products at our Grand Rapids facility, which has an outstanding record for efficiency, quality and safety, we can ensure more reliable supply and the continued product quality our customers have come to expect.”
