Pilot Chemical Co. recently unveiled its new corporate headquarters in West Chester Township, Ohio, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by company executives and employees, as well as local community and business leaders. One of the largest privately held companies in Greater Cincinnati, Pilot Chemical moved its headquarters into about 36,000 sq ft of office space at Centre Pointe III, located at 9075 Centre Pointe Drive in the Centre Pointe Office Park.
Representatives from the West Chester Chamber Alliance, the township, and Butler County attended the ceremony to welcome Pilot to the area. Attendees included Joe Hinson, president and CEO of West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance; Richard Shively, chair of the board of directors for West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance; Ann Becker, West Chester Township trustee; and Zach Bohannon, senior field representative for Representative Warren Davis. After remarks by Pilot Chemical CEO Pam Butcher and the ceremonial ribbon cutting, guests joined the Pilot team for breakfast in the café and a tour of the facility.
“We’re honored that local business and community leaders took the time to help us celebrate this next phase in Pilot’s journey,” said Butcher. “We’re excited to be part of the thriving West Chester business community and look forward to accelerating our success with our revitalized corporate strategy.”
According to Pilot Chemical, that recently announced strategy is designed to increase growth and innovation and put a deeper focus on the company’s employees and customers. It invests millions in the development and commercialization of new products and technologies over the next four years.
In its new headquarters, Pilot Chemical occupies the entire fourth floor and a portion of the third floor of the 121,000-sq-ft Centre Pointe III building. Its new space reportedly features light-filled, open collaboration spaces; state-of-the-art conference rooms and private offices; a design-forward, sweeping central staircase; and a variety of options for private and group work. Pilot Chemical is currently renovating its former headquarters space in Sharonville into a technology center, which is expected to be completed in late 2019.
