Buckman recently announced that it has named Michael Alpert the new leader of its global Performance Chemicals division. Alpert previously served as Buckman’s vice president of Performance Chemicals and division manager for North America Performance Chemicals.

“In the more than 30 years that Michael has been with Buckman, he has shown time after time that he possesses the right leadership capabilities to expand the value we provide our customers in the performance chemicals market,” said Junai Maharaj, CEO and president. “He brings a focus, passion and energy that is admired across the company.”

Alpert began his career at Buckman in 1985 in paper technologies. His tenure includes roles in marketing, administration, sales, and operations. Prior to becoming vice president of Performance Chemicals, he also held senior positions in leather, paper, and process chemicals.
