Ellsworth Adhesives Europe recently announced the launch of a new division with an office based in Cork, South West Ireland. According to the company, Ellsworth Adhesives Ireland provides a physical entity to allow Ellsworth to operate within Ireland and potentially mitigate any risk following the departure of the UK from the European Union. Across Europe, Ellsworth Adhesives has increased its footprint by opening branches in the UK, Spain, France, Scandinavia, Poland, and Germany.

In addition, Ellsworth has named Ciarán Walsh sales manager for the region. Walsh has over 30 years’ experience working in the laboratory supply, chemical, and adhesive industries, most recently as managing director/regional sales director with Dymax Engineering Adhesives Ireland Ltd.

“Whilst we already have a strong presence in Ireland, we are confident that the addition of this new division will allow us to attract an even wider customer base in the area,” said John Henderson, managing director of Ellsworth Adhesives Europe. “Ciarán’s wealth of knowledge and experience will allow him to align our product range closely with the needs of the Irish market and ensure a smooth transition into this new venture.”
